Baskerville

I created an experimental type specimen poster that—through its design and use of creative typographic exploration—visually communicates the essential elements of the Baskerville typeface. By placing printed, cut-out characters and black ink into a tub of water, I was able to capture photographs of the black swirls interacting with the typeface. The intricate design made by the ink compliments the crisp edges, high contrast, and generous proportions of Baskerville
